Varia is a recurring character in the Apple TV+ series, Foundation. She is a watchman serving the Foundation later becoming a Warden. Varia is portrayed by Eva Bradley-Williams, first appearing in "In Seldon's Shadow."
Biography[]
Watchman Varia served under Warden Jaegger Fount on Terminus. When the siren sounded, alerting Terminus City to the impending opening of the Vault, Varia collected a weapon alongside Warden Fount, noting that she had never heard that siren before.[1] When Poly Verisof and Brother Constant were recalled to Terminus, Varia greeted them when their ship docked. Poly warned her about the domesticated bishop's claw in the ship's hold.[3] Varia was later present outside the Vault when Hober Mallow was brought before it.[4]
Following Fount's death, Varia was promoted to the post of Warden.[2] She was rescued from the surface of Terminus by Hari Seldon and the Vault, along with the entire population of the world.[5]
