The Thespin Bomber is a recurring character in the Apple TV+ series Foundation. The bomber is responsible for the destruction of Trantor Station. He is portrayed by Connor Dudley-Fergus, appearing in the episodes "The Emperor's Peace" and "Preparing to Live."
Biography
This Thespin was a terrorist who opposed the Galactic Empire. In 12,067 Era Imperial, in concert with an Anacreon Bomber, the Thespin arrived at Trantor Station in orbit of Trantor. While on the crowded station,[1] he proclaimed "Long Live the Outer Reach" in Thespin and uttered a Thespin prayer not sung in eighty-eight years[2] before triggering a nano-lace explosive embedded in his wrist. The detonation blew out a section of the station, exposing it to space.[1]
Behind the scenes
The character was credited as "Bomber #2" in the credits for "The Emperor's Peace". Despite footage of the bomber was shown in the following episode "Preparing to Live", Connor Dudley-Fergus was not credited for that appearance.
