Lors Avakim is a character in Foundation. She is a lawyer retained by Hari Seldon to help Gaal Dornick. Lors is portrayed by Proschat Madani in the Apple TV+ series, appearing in "The Emperor's Peace."

Biography

Lors Avakim is a legal advocate on the planet Trantor. She was retained by Hari Seldon to defend himself and Gaal Dornick from charges of High Treason and Conspiracy to Destablize the Imperium. After meeting with Gaal, she activated a device that allowed them to speak freely without fear of being overheard. While Lors acknowledged that Hari was sorry for involving her, the truth is her presence on Trantor was intended to bait the Empire into action. Lors later attended the Tribunal proceedings against Hari and Gaal as their legal representative.^[1]
