Shadowmaster was a title used by an agent of the Galactic Empire,[1] tasked with taking care of problems that threatened the stability of the Empire by any means necessary.[2] The shades served under the Shadowmaster.[3] Cleon2's Shadowmaster arranged for the planets Anacreon and Thespis to turn against one another after the marriage of King Throy un Thark to an Anacreaon huntress. The Shadowmaster seduced a handmaiden, drugged the newlyweds and then implicated the king in the murder of the huntress.[4] Shadowmaster Obrecht served the Empire under Cleon12[1] and Cleon13.[2] In 12,240 Era Imperial, the position of Shadowmaster was held by Greeve.[3] Verku was the Imperial Shadowmaster in 12,392 Era Imperial.[5]
