Pater is a recurring character in the Apple TV+ series, Foundation. He is a member of the Foundation and the father of Brother Constant. Pater is portrayed by Luis Torrecilla, first appearing in "A Glimpse of Darkness."
Biography[]
Pater and his husband, Director Sef Sermak, were the parents of Brother Constant.[1] Pater ran a pub in Terminus City called the Four Moons.[2] He welcomed Brother Constant back to Terminus when she and Poly Verisof were recalled due to the Vault getting ready to open.[1] Pater was later present outside the Vault when Hober Mallow was presented to it.[2]
Pater was rescued from the surface of Terminus by Hari Seldon and the Vault, along with the entire population of the world.[3]
