Brigadier Manlio is a recurring character in the Apple TV+ series, Foundation. He is the military leader of the Foundation on Terminus. Manlio is portrayed by Wade Briggs, first appearing in "In Seldon's Shadow."
Biography[]
Brigadier Manlio, along with Director Sef Sermak and Councilor Sutt, meet with Warden Jaegger Fount in front of the Vault when a siren signals that it is about to open. Manlio believes that the military is not completely ready for the coming war with the Galactic Empire.[1] Manlio was present when Warden Fount greeted Poly Verisof when he was recalled to Terminus, and attended the meeting of Foundation leadership that followed.[2] Manlio, along with Sutt, Sermak and Poly, met to discuss the death of Warden Fount and the Vault proclaiming it wanted Hober Mallow. Manlio put forward the idea that maybe the Vault was warning them about Hober, rather than summoning him.[3] Manlio accompanied Sermak and Sutt in meeting Poly Verisof and Brother Constant when they retrieved Hober Mallow and brought him to Terminus.[4]
