Presider Kinn is a minor character in Season Three of the Apple TV+ streaming series Foundation. He is the leader of the Galactic Council. Presider Kinn is portrayed by Miltos Yerolemou.
Biography[]
Presider Kinn was the leader of the Galactic Council in 12,392 Era Imperial. He presided over a meeting of the Council which was attended by Brother Dawn, who was ten days shy of ascension to the middle throne. Dawn wanted the Council to begin supporting the Alliance of Traders, a faction within the Foundation, in an effort to splinter the Foundation and weaken them from within. Presider Kinn reminded Dawn that a vote on the issue could not be taken without Brother Day being present. Dawn replied that they could vote now, or he would return in ten days when he was Brother Day and reintroduce the motion, along with a referendum on a new Presider. Kinn reluctantly called for a vote on the matter.[1]
When Brother Dawn returned to Clarion to call for the Enclosure of Kalgan, Kinn called for the vote, opposing the measure. However, the vote went against him and the Enclosure was authorised. Along with the other councilors, he watched via holo as the Enclosure was enacted, telling Dawn that he had overstepped his authority. Shortly after the Enclosure was in place, the Mule contacted the Council to tell them he was no longer on Kalgan. He had taken over the Gold Horse Gate and destroyed it, triggering a solar flare that killed the population of Kalgan and wiped out the Imperial fleet.[2]
