Ignis is a planet, home to Mentalics. In a memory from Gaal Dornick's future self, The Mule tries to get the location of the Second Foundation and the Mentalics who reside there. Gaal knows this planet to be Ignis from thoughts from her future self. She, Hari Seldon, and Salvor Hardin - over a century prior to this vision - plot a course to Ignis to investigate it.[1]
