Councilor Gorov is a minor character in Season Three of the Apple TV+ streaming series Foundation. She is a member of the Galactic Council. Councilor Gorov is portrayed by Michelle Huirama.
Biography[]
Councilor Gorov was a member of the Galactic Council in 12,392 Era Imperial. She attended a meeting of the Council which was attended by Brother Dawn, who was ten days shy of ascension to the middle throne. Dawn wanted the Council to begin supporting the Alliance of Traders, a faction within the Foundation, in an effort to splinter the Foundation and weaken them from within. Gorov reminded Dawn that he was not Emperor yet.[1]
When Brother Dawn returned to Clarion to call for the Enclosure of Kalgan, Gorov voted against the measure. However, the vote went against her and the Enclosure was authorised. Along with the other councilors, she watched via holo as the Enclosure was enacted, followed by the Mule contacting them to tell them he was no longer on Kalgan. He had taken over the Gold Horse Gate and destroyed it, triggering a solar flare that killed the population of Kalgan and wiped out the Imperial fleet.[2]
