She-Is-Center is a recurring character in the Apple TV+ series, Foundation. A Spacer, she met with Hober Mallow aboard the Home-Swarm. She-Is-Center is portrayed by Brucella Newman-Persaud, first appearing in "Why the Gods Made Wine."
Biography[]
She-Is-Center is a Spacer leading the group aboard the Home-Swarm. She met with Hober Mallow when he encountered them in deep space, demanding to know why he was defiling the Home-Swarm.[2] Hober Mallow was sent to treat with the Spacers, offering them synthesized opalesk that could break them free from the grip of the Galactic Empire. While tempted by the offer, She-Is-Center worried that even talking with Hober who cause the Empire to increase their demand for the Spacer's offspring to crew and navigate their ships. She-Is-Center contacted her daughter, She-Bends-Light aboard the Shining Destiny and reported the approach to General Bel Riose. The Home-Swarm rendezvoused with the Shining Destiny to transfer Hober, allowing She-Is-Center to reunite and communicate with her daughter.[1]
