Hetman is a recurring character in the Apple TV+ series, Foundation. He is a resident of Siwenna. Hetman is portrayed by Noah Taylor, first appearing in "A Glimpse of Darkness."
Biography
Hetman led a band on the planet Siwenna who were opposed to the Church of the Galactic Spirit trying to establish a foothold on the plan. An adherent to the local lightning deity, Hetmen carried a consecrated rope known as a handfast to restrain offenders. Hetman's group captured a Claric of the Church of Galactic Spirit, Rees, and tied him to a tree. After stabbing him with a knife, they let the lightning kill him.[1]
Hetman and his group, including Jori, tried to capture another member of the Church, Brother Constant, when she tried to set up a show in a small village. High Claric Poly Verisof intervened, winning over the crowd and dumping Hetman into a small pond of water to stop him from inciting the crowd.[1]
