A field disrupter preparing to activate
A field disrupter was a piece of technology capable of neutralising the field relays of a perimeter fence. Phara Keaen smuggled a field disrupter into the Foundation Tower, disguised in her nano-glass prosthetic eye, after being captured by Warden Salvor Hardin. Once in the Tower, Phara used the field disrupter to overload the field relays of the perimeter fence, causing it to fail and exposing Terminus City to the Anacreon's invasion force.[1]
