The Imperial armada encloses Kalgan

An Enclosure was a military tactic employed by the Galactic Empire. An Enclosure called for a vast number of Imperial ships to completely encircle a planet. Emperor Cleon¹⁷ ordered General Bel Riose to enact an Enclosure around the planet Terminus in 12,240 Era Imperial. The 20th Fleet moved into position around the world, bolstered by ships from the Auxiliary.

In 12,392 Era Imperial, Cleon²⁵ wanted to enact an Enclosure around Kalgan as a counter to its takeover by the Mule. The act had been suggested to him by Gaal Dornick, but Cleon²⁴ refused to authorize an Enclosure, after it was pointed out that the Mule's actions on Kalgan did not warrant fleet action.
